Strategy.
Innovation.
Ethics.
Leadership.
I work at the intersection of strategic consulting, independent research and system architecture — connecting organizational reality with the structural questions emerging from artificial intelligence and technological transformation.
As a consultant with OCC, I work with organizations on strategy, transformation and future-oriented decision-making. In parallel, my independent research through Orto Lab focuses on foundational and enabling architectures for artificial intelligence, reflexive systems and epistemic governance.
Two fields of practice. One perspective: understanding systems deeply enough to shape what comes next.

Orto Lab | Reflexive Intelligence & Future Strategy
Independent Research in System Architecture, Artificial Intelligence and Epistemic Governance
Orto Lab is an independent research environment founded by Salvatore Orto in Bielefeld, Germany. Its work focuses on foundational and enabling architectures for artificial intelligence, reflexive systems, epistemic governance and the structural conditions under which digital systems move from impulse to decision and action.
Research is developed across technological, epistemological, economic and governance perspectives, with particular attention to system integrity, non-fragmentability, reflection, resonance, drift and controlled non-response.
Research, Patent Architecture & Documentation
Since 2025, parts of this work have been formally documented through international and U.S. patent proceedings. On 20 August 2026, the World Intellectual Property Organization published international patent application WO 2026/172133, based on PCT/IB2025/051893 and claiming priority from US 63/758,361 of 14 February 2025.
Alongside the patent architecture, Orto Lab maintains a continuously developed research and audit environment documenting technological developments, structural correspondences and the evolution of generative AI systems over time.
